2 Quick (Important) Things

5 Flares Filament.io 5 Flares ×

Hey Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you’re as excited as I am for the new year.

I’ve got 2 IMPORTANT things to talk to you about today…

1. Something very special is happening tomorrow so Mark Your Calenders For December 28th and be on the lookout for a special e-mail coming from me.

2. I’m going to answer someone’s question LIVE on camera.

So remember

1. CLICK HERE to submit a question and have me answer it live on camera.

2. Keep your eyes peeled for a very special email coming from me tomorrow

3. When you feel that things aren’t going well in your business:

A.) Put things in a different perspective and consider all that IS going well!

B.) Start setting smaller (ultra specific) goals for yourself and start celebrating each time you reach your goal.

Example: Set a goal to read/implement chapter one of that $397 home study course you bought 2 months ago.

Once you’ve read/implemented chapter 1…give yourself a pat on the back!

This will start to give you momentum and move you in the right direction.

To Your Success in 2011 🙂

  1. Devon,

    Great advice, thank you!

An ancient proverb states, “Expectation postponed is making the heart sick”. So how does that apply in this case? Plain and simple – don’t set unrealistic goals/expectations. If, as you say, a newbie sets a goal of $10,000/month their first day online, and after that first month, they haven’t made a dollar, of course they are going to be disappointed and discouraged.

Now, if that same newbie’s first realistic goal was to decide on a domain name, which he does, one down. Then, his next goal is to purchase the domain – two down. Then he needs to establish his domain, point the name servers, and the list goes on and on. Imagine this… by the time he gets WP installed, he would’ve conquered up to a dozen different mini-goals ALL leading to that eventual $10,000/month goal. Wow, talk about momentum and skyrocketing confidence!

Set small, simple and realistic goals. Beat them down one at a time. Enjoy the moment. Enjoy the success. Remember, we all started out rolling, crawling, walking and then finally running. It’s the natural progression of life!

    Take care,

    Fred S.

  2. Seasons Greetings Devon !

Your answer to the question today couldn’t be more precise.

When you find a program/product , that you think will work well,
or actually does, then ‘stick with it’. Don’t quit one step from winning.

I have been online for ten years and have yet to show a ‘major profit’,
but I have spent ‘thousands’. I have bought hundreds of useless programs.
Not so much ‘stupidity , just mostly lack of knowledge.

Most of those get rich quick schemes are ‘just that’ schemes that allow
the program/product owner the only ones who ‘get rich quick’.

With all the sites that show big houses, fancy cars, big yachts etc.
and super inflated (phony) web shots of huge dollar accounts you
will find that most are pure ‘ B.S.’ Don’t get ‘sucked in’,

So, like Devon says, take it slow !

Hey ! you crawled before you learned to walk and then run !

    Universal Blessings to All,

    Robert.

I am moving and have a lot to do had a good Christmas with My daughter at Disney
I live in Florida now but life is too short and have got to move back to NY
Have to see how the weather is we are driving and have to have money in case we get stuck
so Happy New Year and Happy Kawanza
Hope you dont get any more coal
Thanks for all the free info

  4. Hey Devon, what do you mean 400 lbs?
With those “guns” you should be able to do that easy!

Sheila, there is nothing to be confused about. URL is simply the address of your website. Nothing
to know except that when you register your domain, it’s taken care of for you.

Anyway Devon, great video and the goal stuff is important. Not just with IM but, with everyday
life! Always make sure your short term goal is attainable. Your long term goal should be more’
difficult and require more effort to reach!

Looking forward to your next video and your email!
    Thanks for this important tip!
