How To Come Up With UNLIMITED Content!

2 Flares Filament.io 2 Flares ×

Hey Everyone,

Hope you’re having a good start to your new year 🙂

I was talking to one of my more advanced students not too long ago, and she asked me a REALLY good question about how to further her relationship with her email list by providing “content” to them.

She said to me: “Devon, you’re always able to come up with new and fresh content to share with us on your blog… how do you do it?”

So, as you see…

The first thing you must do if you want to have “unlimited” content to share with people, is to change your definition of the word “content”.

Stop thinking about this as “You’re the expert and you must have all of the answers and everything you share must be an original thought from you”.

Instead, think of it as “These people are on my email list because they want to learn about (INSERT NICHE HERE)… so if I find (or come up with) something cool to share with them, I’m gonna share it”

Here’s something you can tell yourself…

“Whether it’s original content from me, an article I found, a video I found, and interview I did with a ‘real expert’, an inspirational quote/picture I found on Facebook, or just me rambling on about the mistakes I’ve made… As long as it helps to empower the people on my list… then I’ll share it with them. And THAT is how I’ll add ‘content’

So….

Hopefully you found today’s video informative/helpful 🙂

As Always…

1. PLEASE leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts.

2. PLEASE pass this on to any other home business entrepreneurs you know (facebook friends, twitter friends, etc) if you think it might help them.

That was a very useful video post. I am always concerned that I will not have enough content for regular posts and that I lack inspirational content. Your post has opened my eyes and I’m wondering why it’s taken until now for me to realize that I don’t need to be the expert with all of the answers to everything in my niche.

    Thanks for the valuable information.

    Jeff.

  11. Awesome video, and a Happy New Year…

Makes a lot of sense, and sometimes that’s something I’m lacking, but you bring me back to reality.

Thanks Devon! You couldn’t have said it any better. Hopeful internet marketers will fair much better if they stop chasing Google and focus on chasing their audience. If you find their voice, you will know what to speak on. Remember, they’re not experts either, but they do like to talk. We’re all social creatures and experts on that. Stop trying so hard to be a marketer and major in what comes natural for most of us…striking up conversation. It’s amazing how others will actually “help” you find topics they want to hear and talk about.
    Thanks again

  13. Great Advice. As always, I enjoyed your video. Thanks so much

  15. Devon,
True and it is what i do when i have no ideas about what to write or e-mail to my list.

…and there is a sneaky way to make “content come to you” instead of going out to look for it.

    Use Google Alerts.

Set up an alert for your niche.

all and everything written daily will be sent to you via e-mail. You can sort and then pick the best ones and add to your autoresponder,

    cool right?

    Devon,

Great video about content! I think just learning to be “aware” of potential content is a huge leverage in creating some content on a regular basis. The whole idea about creating a connection with your list outside of the “sales” mode is huge.

Thanks for the info – keep up the good work – and stay “real”.

Thanks Devon for sharing this valuable information, i always enjoy your teaching and your advice is always invaluable, thanks a million.

  18. Thanks Devon for this video on content. You hit the nail right on the head for me. I am always struggling with content because of the wrong mind set.
