What’s The #1 Skill Necessary For Making Money Online?

Hey Everyone!
Ok, so if you saw my last blog video (the one where I shared with you some of my pics from my trip to Europe), then you know that in the video, I showed you a secret piece of paper that had some POWERFUL INFORMATION on it for me to share with you!
(If you missed the last blog video, you can CLICK HERE TO SEE IT)
Today’s video is the first of the tips that I got from my seminar that I’m going to share with you.
It answers the all important question…
“What’s the #1 Skill Necessary For Making Money Online?”

So.. did you find today’s blog video helpful?
Do you know understand why what I told you in the video is THE #1 MOST IMPORTANT thing you must do if you want to make money?
Another example of this level of specificity is easily noticeable right here on my blog. Notice that I almost NEVER talk about “Advanced” SEO techniques or really “Techie” things as far as Internet Marketing is concerned. That’s because my target market is NOT the ‘already successful’ super technical internet marketer. It’s the ‘everyday’ person who is trying to separate the real from the fake with regard to the whole ‘make money online’ industry.
This is why “newbies” love me, and “real techie people” think I’m a nice guy but don’t concern themselves too much with what I have to say- hahahaha 😉
Anyways, hopefully today’s blog post hit home for you (like it did for me).
And as always…
1. PLEASE leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts.
2. PLEASE pass this on to any other home business entrepreneurs you know (facebook friends, twitter friends, etc) if you think it might help them.

We this has some good points in it. SEO is not that easy but once you get it you have unlimited free traffic. Thanks for the info I really needed it.

  2. Devon,

Another solid IM principle that would have shortened the learning
curve for me. Thank you for sharing info learned in London.
I ‘ll bet there is some other info you learned at the social clubs
in London that is not recorded anywhere. & not sharing

Hey Carl, I look forward to sharing a lot more of the tips I received at the seminar in London. Not any of the tips I got from going to the clubs… LOL!

  3. Very nice insight Devon. when i started internet marketing i thought the number 1 skill necessary for making money is just Driving Traffic to whatever you are promoting or selling but i just realize theres a lot into it and not just driving traffic but getting the ideal prospect that are looking for whatever you are promoting. in other words highly targetted traffic but it does not end there. And you are really right the number 1 skill you should really have is to be able to get inside the mind of your ideal prospect and understand what really their needs are. That way you will know what products to promote that will create an appeal to them. Thanks a lot Devon for sharing a lot of ideas!

Thanks for the great comment Ramon! Understanding your prospects frustrations and having a solution to help them solve the dilemma or issue they are facing is the best way to market to your perfect prospect.

  4. Hi Devon,

Very informative video as usual (and thanks for passing this info on)

After reading your e-mail posing the question I do have to admit that I got it wrong too (kind of) because I said Copy-writing,

Which isn’t really that far wide of the mark because the main requirement is to understand the wants and needs of the target market before putting pen to paper so to speak,

So the info in your video makes things a lot easier to get your head around as it allows you to formulate the starting point for the thought process required to allow you to be able to connect with your target audience as you write your initial promotional piece, e-mail follow-ups etc.

So again thanks for sharing 🙂

Hey David, You hit the nail on the head! Copy-writing is an essential element in communicating and compelling your targeted prospects to take action on the solution that you have to help them. And to provide great copy you MUST understand what your audience needs. Thanks Man!

  5. Devon, Great video! Thank you for sharing. That is incredible information. That info will take things to a new level. You know you here the stories about delivering value and giving away things to your prospects. But the missing piece has just been delivered. Get inside your prospects mind and find out what they are looking for. Then you deliver what they are looking for. There is such a broad range of what you can deliver without knowing. Aha you find out what they are looking for then you know. Knowing is half the battle, delivery is the other half!

Great Vlog, I have been sitting trying to figure a laser targeted campaign to really increase my PPC. I have a good response on a current campaign after about 6 tweaks, and now it’s getting a little more complicated since I feel I could make it even more targeted than where it’s at. I’m actually doing a second campaign and running it simultaneously to compare results. THANKS FOR THE TIPS!!
