Thanksgiving, Politics, & The “Recession”

0 Flares Filament.io 0 Flares ×

Hey Everyone!

Ok, STOP! Before you even think about commenting on this blog post about your political beliefs, know that today’s video is NOT about politics…It’s about YOU!

I do not care if you think that the Re-election of President Obama is the best thing since sliced bread…or if you think it’s the end of the world (or if you just don’t care).

Today’s’ blog video has to do with something much larger than that.

Enjoy 🙂

So…

Here are the questions…

1. Do you think/act as if all of the money has left the planet?
2. Do you think/act as if the person in the White House will be responsible for whether or not YOU succeed?
3. Do you not realize how TRULY BLESSED you already are?

Or…

1. Are you thankful that YOU are in control of your own life!!
2. Are you grateful for the simple fact that you can sit at your computer and watch this video?
3. Are you thankful that all of the money has NOT left the planet and that it’s yours for the taking if you just decide to get it?

I hope it’s the latter 🙂

As Always…

1. PLEASE leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts.

2. PLEASE pass this on to any other home business entrepreneurs you know (facebook friends, twitter friends, etc) if you think it might help them.

  1. Hello Sir Devon,

  2. Awesome post Devon! It reminds me of another great quote I heard just yesterday. “If You Are a Leader and No one is Following You, You’re just taking a Walk.” I’ll bet none of the people that complain about their business attended any of the workshops you’ve been to, and I’m sure they haven’t cracked a book. We are in control of our destiny and we are either making money or we’re making excuses. The job market is looking pretty bad but e-commerce is exploding. Thank you for all the value you bring to the market-place.

  3. Hi Devon,

Great video. Your friend is absolutely right. The money IS still here somewhere. It is just out of circulation and it is up to us to locate it and start spreading it around again.
You can no more take it with you when you die and go heaven (or the other place), what ever your beliefs,—You can’t take it with you.

So, aside from piling all the cash in a big heap and setting fire to it to celebrate Thanksgiving, it must be here somewhere.

There are sections of society who are broke and others that are living the high life. One of my family members runs his own business hand building wooden hot tubs, (not exactly an essential item in times of hardship), yet his order books are full.

What we, as entrepreneurs need to do, is persuade the wealthy minority to stop hoarding their cash and get it back into circulation by creating a demand for goods and services, thus getting people back into prosperity.

    Wishing you peace & prosperity,

    David M

    Hi Devon,

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Good thoughts……………during the Great Depression 75% of the people in the U.S.
still had work! Just be one of those that have a job and make money.

The sitting President may influence the business climate but he/she cannot stop us
    from making money.

    Be Well

Taking RESPONSIBILITY is clearly defined as ‘having the ability to respond’. If you are above ground and not below, you can take responsibility for your life, your choices and income. As for the dynamic gifted motivational speaker, Les Brown, that I remember as a young whipper snapper, he was a powerful motivator with tremendous influence on the young minds of many boys and girls in Columbus, Ohio area as the disc jockey on WVKO radio station, I was one. I will never forget the day the radio went silent while he protested against the mistreatment of a young couple and their recently newborn infant. Afterwards, when we arrived at school that day, you saw many kids weeping. It was just weeks before, that he had come to visit our school to tell us that ‘WE WERE A SOMEBODY’. So yes, I was one of the many who joined in the crowd of the teary eyed. It was complete poetic justice for us all, who witnessed that unfortunate incident, to see him not only soar above his circumstance but have such a profound impact on the entire world with his ability to respond positively from a negative experience.

  6. Besides all your other wizardry you’re a healer; you healed me when I saw you talking with Benjamin Franklin and Andrew Jackson. That laugh was just what was needed.

Looks like you healed my other main imbalance of inadequate finances too by helping me get that website above and letting me know about high traffic academy.

Cheers to the Spirit expressing through you.

  7. Hi Devon,

    Happy Thanks giving …

We don’t celebrate it over here in the UK but I’ve heard it’s pretty big over there in the states.

Great video as usual and you’re right, if you own a computer and have an Internet connection then you have all the basic tools to earn money, and you can start an online business around something you enjoy doing so you can have a lot of fun doing it too, that’s got to be a good reason to be thankful.

Yes, the economy isn’t in that good a shape, but there’s always opportunity in adversity, brave new world everyone.

    Cheers
    David.

Thanks for giving value to others. Yes, we have to own our situations and make a decision to change how and what we do to be successful.

    Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Well said. You are talking about the process of the energy change and is connected with every thing that exists on the planet. I am not politically active, actually i don’t care about politics.
I agree with you that the money are not gone from the planet. Person should make the way for money to come to him:)) I agree with everything that you’ve said. Think positive and do positive stuff and they will come (money).
But i still can not understand how to build my list, for example i have basic knowledge of making a web site and still don’t have any blog made.I hope that you will teach me the best.
Happy thanks giving day to you.

  10. Hey Devon!

Man, once again you hit the nail right on the head!

    Absolutely!

From what I see everyday, most people play the victim as if they are completely helpless and powerless to change their circumstances.

YES…I am very grateful that I am ultimately in control and responsible for my own life.

YES, the fact that I can sit here and type a response to your video is amazing (Almost miraculous)

    And

I am grateful for the basics that very few of us stop to appreciate…clean drinking water, good food, shelter, clothes and things that are beyond the basics like a car, a computer and a cellphone. (funny that we consider a car, computer and phone basics)

There are places where the day begins with trying to find clean drinking water…

    Yes, I am EXTREMELY grateful!!

    Thanks Devon for that video!

  11. Hi Devon

“The money hasn’t left the planet!” I’m gonna steal that quote too 🙂 . I absolutely love Les Brown and now I love his daughter too. We just have to believe we’ll find it, take the necessary action to get our hands on the money and be grateful for everything we’ll notice around us during our search.
