Bingo, Devon. Awesome video. I only watched half of it before turning you off to make a call I’ve been putting off 🙂 Entrepreneurs take heed. At the end of the day, action is the only thing that matters.

There you go again Devon…looking over my shoulder! LOL! I don’t feel too bad though because the only way you could know these things is because you must have been there yourself once too.
This was a very useful post, as was part 1. Thank you Devon!
Now I”m off to do some “real” work on my business.
    Have a nice day!

  3. Good! stuff Devon,

Actually both videos, and no doubt the best advice I’ve heard from anywhere. I too, have an Insatiable appetite for new Info (especially those that have promise of microwave results) with less ambition to stay “With It” in Info I know about and can implement “until” it works. I think the most effective moment in your video was your demonstration that even now you must make a daily List of what this day requires of you to Do. My “to Do” list is tiny. It’s just “Write more Articles” that I don’t even feel qualified to write with my limited knowledge, and so I spend far more time, like you surmised, getting educated than in doing the “Work” I should be doing. That takes Discipline, Devon. Discipline to get Away! from learning, and “applying” what you already know – and you’ve shown us (by your To Do list) you have that discipline. Keep hammering that Home to us, because we Need it. I actually hate sitting at my computer for hours trying to figure Out what to write on my blog and I frequently have to jump up and get Away from this thing to take a Break. But, your lesson to get back there and Do it is Well taken. Thanks for that.

I’d leave a long comment for you but I gotta get to work. Thanks for the kick in the a**

    Hey Devon,

Great information as always … spot on! Regarding your “racist camera” though …. I think you might want to check the settings on your camera. If there isn’t a way to compensate for the bright window on the right, you might want to either put another “lit” window on the other side of you or blast that side of you with a flood light or something.

Dark or not, as long as we can hear you, it’s all good. Thanks again.

Guilty as charged. I feel better after getting some of the hard work done but there is so much great material to read & watch, it’s so hard to resist.

    Hi Devon,

I have been trying to stay more focused and on-task since watching Part 1 – doesn’t always work I have to say!

Having now watched Part 2 I really will be turning over a new leaf and as from Monday I shall be making a ‘to do list’ everyday BEFORE I take time out to browse!

I know what you’re going to say – “Why wait ’til Monday?” !!!

  8. Hi Devon,

A really good follow-up video with yet more pearls of wisdom,
I did spot you’re e-mail in my inbox on Friday but didn’t open
it because I had so much work to do on my business so I got
stuck into that and having completed (most) of it, I decided
to take a look as it’s now Sunday evening here so I don’t feel
    guilty at all 🙂

Yes educating yourself is a very good thing but pointless if you
don’t act on what you’ve learnt as action is the only thing that
will bring results, do nothing and that’s exactly what you get!

    Keep these great vids coming

This was great Devon … you caught me just in time, I’ve been on a roll lately ‘until’ recently (haha) … I seem to be getting swamped with valuable content lately and I’m so close to finishing an important project …

… mainly I know it’s because there is always an urgency/scarcity factor attached to the content, but of course no matter how urgent as Dr Stephen Covey would say, “what’s important should come before what is urgent” … of course as the content does nothing in my head, I’ve gotta put the action first lol. I hope that helps anyone else checking this out to really hit that home.

Devon you’ve made a very valuable point that I know everyone who watches this video will benefit from.

Right I’m off to get this mother finished right now!!!!

Keep up the good work and catcha later.

    Matt : )
