  1. Great video Devon, I hope people take this to heart.

The easiest thing to do is yell “Scam”, but the hardest, most sincere thing to do is to look at ourselves to see why we never took the action that was needed in order for us to succeed.

Once we learn to stop placing the blame and taking responsibility we will be more successful in life.

Keep up the good work sir, this si good stuff.

Hey, I know that scams will de motivate you. ie. investing $450 per month for more than 15mths to be part of some great black hat software development. at the end all I got was buy a website and I’ll advise you. needless to say I sat on my butt. Since then I have got off my butt, motivated myself and started to take action with an ever growing confidence. results will follow. Lesson I learnt is dont let the scammers put your life down. Thanks for a great video, Steve

    Hey Devon,

Great video, great content, and I can actually relate to your real estate experience and your “enough motivation” part of your video. This is what I call valuable material

    Hello Devon,
You are right about motivation. We live in a society where everybody has a miicrowave mentality and wants to just buy a program and push a button. We have to invest time, study, and develop some stick-to-it-ness! You get what you put in to it!

  9. Devon,

Anything you need to “learn” first has some order of difficulty to it. It’s only natural. It’s all
about people putting the effort in.

    Reinhard Yu

  10. Wow!… Interesting. I have the exact same story. Dropped 4 grand (which I borrowed)
on a Robert G Allen real estate seminar (many years ago), flew to New Orleans from
New York City, stayed in a hotel for 5 days (on credit) while attending the seminar…

The seminar was excellent. I was motivated. But after a couple weeks of making
the required phone calls looking for no money down deals with no success, I quit.
    It was too hard.

But at the seminar, I met people who had made no money down deals.
So it works. It just didn’t work for me.

Devon, you are exactly right. It is not a scam. It can and does work for some people.
Unfortunately, you have to be super-motivated and super-dedicated to make it work.

    Best Wishes,
    Carl Willoughby

  11. Hello Devon,

    Awesome video!

Now I have to agree on the video as a whole it is a refreshing feeling to know that I wasn’t scammed, but was only mislead by my own self as to the complexity of the programs I chose.

    thanks Joe Johnson

Great video, yes it is very easy for someone to say that they got scammed, when all they need is motivation. Yes I know as I did get scammed, and now because of it I have a huge debt that I have to pay. I am sort of new on line, but everything I learned is by reading and studying others. I have learned how to create a web site and have now created two. Its hard to find motivation when you don’t know what to do or where to turn. But it can happen, you just have to make it happen. Thanks fr Heather

  13. Yes I like your angle because I have thought of this myself and am guilty of this very same thing and have gotten unmotivated between the time I put my credit card number in and the next was just overwhelmed by the next afternoon so I will take a chance and implement what you are telling me Thanks. Kevin

    Hi Devon,
Thanks for video – great stuff.

Just one small criticism if you will take it in the helpful way it is intended.

You speak too rapidly and some of your meaning is lost in the process. If you could take a stroll through your script rather than a sprint it would help you visitors immensely.

    Keep strutting your stuff.

Devon, This was awsome! alot of people need to hear what you had to say. Human nature wants to blame others for their inability to perform. I have been studying this market place for 8 months and have spent probably ( and this is the upside) 700.00 on different courses and programs. I have enjoyed the ride so far, even though I have not made a penny on the internet. I don’t blame anyone, for I set out with a goal, that I would study this area for the next year and not be concerned if I made anything or not. I had my own home improvement business for four years and put everything into it and at first, I had jobs that paid .o4 cents per hour. WOW! was that hard, but I learned over time how to price my jobs and in 3 years, I was making 70,000 a year.
I know I will be successful in this area and make the money I want to fund the charities I want to give to.
Devon, I appriecieate your honesty here and will continue to follow you.

    Man! Devon,

In that fictitious way everyone feels scammed, I’ve been scammed to the tune of something like $25 to $30K in more RE courses than I can count and “Maxed” my cards in the process (however, I did learn enough to go back to it & plan to once you get me my Seed money) and that’s where I was when Matt Bacak referred me to You. Right now I’m determined & tenacious about making Sure! I get your WCC program implemented (remember your Fri video on the curve of determination?), but it’s taking me more like weeks to do that, rather than the 3 hrs you suggest and I’m still having trouble getting my Affiliate WCC Ads onto my Social Media sites. Hope that course you’re working on can clrear that up.

    Keep Up the good! work,

  22. Devon you are very cool!!! Your exam of a scam is right on!!!(:-)

  23. I never expect to make money right off the bat. I know it takes time and lot of persistence in what needs to get done. I love your courses!! Thank You

  24. 4:42 am on September 20, 2010

You didn’t get scammed at the seminar. They were selling you the ideas and tools to help you become a real estate investor. What is the old saying, it is easier to give a man a fish and feed him for one day, than it is to teach him how to fish and feed him for a life time.

  25. Great video Devon, so true. Made a lot of sense.

  26. Devon,

Excellent video most people will not stop to think about it in that manner though. I have felt this way on occasion but its not the fact of being scammed its the fact of being overwhelmed at learning or doing something new. I have adopted a saying in life that I have found to hold quite a bit of truth and it is,”keep doing what you are doing and you will keep getting what you got.”

Till next time keep on keeping on.

  27. Hi Devon,

I’ve also spent several thousands purchasing information on RE courses to become an investor but I see it as an investment. Because knowledge is power and I never know when a situation will
avail itself and I will be in a position to use the knowledge I have acquired. Plus i know one or two RE investors that have acquired major success in the industry. I definitely know one thing for sure
as I make money from my internet marketing business, I will be in the position to strive to acquire
    some foreclosure properties.

p.s. By the way your assistant. Tera, is wonderful. She has helped me complete some steps in a matter of minutes that would have taken me days! Hats off to Tera. Thank you.

  28. Thank You Devon,
I enjoy hearing your take on being scammed. I have done a version of that weekend at least three times. We did not give any of them the ACTION they deserved. We now have a lot of debt to get rid of.
    Your site
was just what I needed to stop fooling around and to get busy. The price you charge for the program was very reasonable. You also recommend some great products
    Thank you

  29. Hi,Devon your video brings back bad memory of me being scammed and it hurts to now how stupid I was !!!!!

I was on another program where there was video training and the moderator said in one of his comments that when a High profit course is being sold to the public that a phone number is set up so when your on the phone to find out more about the course,he wants to now how money credit cards you have and the balance on them so he try’s to sell right now and I mean now!!!. So when you say let me think on it he says let me talk to my manager to lower the coast. In the mean time a High pressure sales man convinced you to by the high price program for thousands of dollars because he get a big bonus $$$$.
You think your talking to the office of the product but your really talking to a High Pressure boiler room office and now thy got you. Hang up the phone fast because you will suffer like I did.(that was me)

I have been with Devon for two years now and I am not here to bash him !
I am still struggling but going over all his material over and over I now it will be the best ever because he gave me the recourses and yes I’m still struggling but learning moor and moor by watching Devon email videos to all his members, thanks Devon
