    Two more key items:

1.) Module on keeping information in order. Avoiding overload. Focus
    Computer files
    General info
    website info
get off most of the lists
limit the “Gurus” you listen to

    2.) Must have tools/software
    Free
    Paid
Then good to have if you have a few $$$$.

You are on the right track. thanks

    mark

  2. You are right on Devon. One thing I would like, is to keep the videos or how ever you present the training short as possible. I know I can only grasp so much info at one time and I’m sure other people are the same.

This is a great idea using our response. If it works and we are successful you can sell it for a lot of $$$$$ which I’m sure you are aware of. There are so many people saying they want a testimonial and most of it is BS. You will really have something big if we are the true test group. This way you can feel good about keeping the price low to start with.
    Thanks

    Hey Devon,

you are on the right track. One other thing that I would like to see is on how to pick a niche

    Hi Devon,

How about a EASY plug n’ play portion too?

    No Monthly fees.

How about a “pay it forward” aspect integrated/embedded into the program?

How about being once established, having the ability to “grandfather” another person into this?

How about being able to do this from our cell phones?

How about you just having a nice day! and yes, working on trying to find Lolo for you.

    Devon:
You are right on with this plan you are going to design. Step-by-Step instructions would be great. There are so many so called Guru plans out here that a person buys that leaves a whole lot of unanswered questions and most get disgusted with them right away. Also, showing step by step on how to build a list would also be very important. I look forward to the next video. You are on the right track. Keep up the good work.

  6. 3:35 pm on February 18, 2010

Yes, it’s all spot on so far, as far as I’m concerned, but I do have one little request. Please, as well as video could it all be provided in text form as well. I can take info in better if it is written down rather than all video.

Other than that keep up the good work.

    Jackie

I think you are right on. Remember that people learn in diiferent ways, so I think for training material, include both pdf and videos explaining things step by step. And include all the tools (or access to them) needed.

  8. Yep, Step-by-step is excellent, and list building is ___THE KEY___!

  9. 7:39 pm on February 18, 2010

Great! Devon…you are right on track.

    Re: List Building vs Traffic.

Implementing a multi-auto traffic source embedded into your newbie system will be ideal!

keeping training short … clearly defining steps again…also clearly defining expectation…then…how to treat our list.

I appreciate your video series Devon. Brilliant!

  10. 11:25 pm on February 18, 2010

You’re definitely on track! Also, how about an alphabegtical “Definition List” of all the basic Internet Marketing terms that Newbies need to know? Thanks again!

  11. 9:11 am on February 19, 2010

    Hi Devon,
There are are probably a lot of people out there with serious financial problems, like me. Just an idea, why not start with an option of a very basic system that promotes a product and generates a residual income. In this way the whole thing could become self-funding. Then, when the funds become available, you can start adding modules such as, adding an autoresponders etc.. Once the system is complete this high ticket system could be offered as an affiliate program.

  12. Hello Devon,
Great energy, I can tell you really love what you do. This vide series has been a big help, and thank you for including me. If there is anything I can do to help you out, just say the word.

    Take Care and God Bless!

Whats been going on Devon. I would make a comment, but I have not yet had time to look at it. This is the first time I have been on the computer all week. I will return and make a good posting for you wonce I do.

  14. 11:21 pm on February 20, 2010

    Hi Devon:

Firstly, I have over 9 years working successfully in the internet marketing world and would like to tell you that Jackie is right in that it is great to offer videos as they are the next and current wave in the internet marketing world however, many people really like things in text format too as they print out worthy information and follow along with the information in them as a textbook so you might want to consider that.

Secondly, it would be nice if you would take a bit of time and make sure google ranks this website for you as it gives you more credibility. If you want info, email me.

    Sincerely,

P.S. One of the things that there is not enough of on the internet is information for newbies to use the Web 2.0 system. That is needed from a layman viewpoint. What it is, what it doesn, how it works and how it is set up. It should be a ‘hot’ item for you since there is a lack of it.

  15. I certainly agree with the step-by-step making it very clear what we should do today… do this first, exact steps and ‘how to’ and then keep it up. I have tried other step-by-step programs but what usually happens it I get to a certain point and then can’t keep up, or too much information too fast – information overload:-) I really like how you’re teaching! Thanks!

    ==> “RE: Our Success System”

Hi devon You know you are on the right track. How about a section on Website creation and page management

    Many Thanks

    Steve

  17. 7:25 am on February 21, 2010

    Devon,

On the right track. For #3, step-by-step copy procedures–make sure the procedures to copy aren’t difficult.

    #4 Listbuilding–free or almost free. Again, step-by-step.

    Thanks–

    Doreen

  18. Devon,

Of course you are on the right track. Actually you are brilliant to do this. People are going to be much more likely to purchase a product when they feel they have beendirectly involved in the development of that product. Bravo!

Poor LoLo Jones doen’t know what she’s missing. Hey we could start Email and Twitter campaigns. But seriously Dude, you can’t get a LoLo Jones if you always wear the same shirt.

In terms of feedback, you would do well to offer information that helps people create their own marketable products to offer. There is a lot of talent out there and people can use all the encouragement they can get to engage their creativity. Because I know everyone who is reading this has the ability to create amazing things!

    Blessings,
    Connie

    Devon,
so glad you are acknowledging all the different areas that us newbies might really
appreciate and might not even think about since we don’t know where we are
suppose to gather the type of stuff you are talking about. The step by step
is really great broken down in manageable pieces.
    Lins
P.S could we get a picture of Lola so we would know to be on the lookout for her? ha!

  20. 6:48 pm on February 21, 2010

    Hi Devon & Captain Pregnant,

1 – 4 You not only hit it but HOME RUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNN Bro.

Absolutely what us newbies want and need.

    Susanne – keep him straight.

I’ll pray about you and Miss Jones and let Him decide the best for both of you.

Look forward to your next up front video.
    Robert

    Hi Devan,

I am glad that you are on the right track. I have a few suggestions.

Your product should give us a fully functional website, I mean the opt in page and the auto responder letters etc (which we should be able to re-write).

The problem is that if you give us a ready made website for all your subscribers, then it will be duplicate content and no body will gain anything from this.

In my opinion, I think your product should come with a huge content and out of this huge content, everybody should be able to pick small chunks of the contents from here and there, re-write it and put it on his website. This way, there will be no duplication.

I 100% agree that you should give us step 1…do this, step 2 do this etc. If everybody is copying these steps there shouldn’t be any problem because the main content of the website will be different.

Then you should give us a few top class methods so that we get best traffic. Please don’t overload us with lot of methods. We are already very confused what works and what does not.

You should also manage to exchange links of websites of your subscribers so that we get traffic from the search engines. The more your subscribers, the more back links and the more traffic we will get.

Your approach is quite unique. You can make us your test case. I think more than 95% have not earned from internet. Take it as your challenge and let us make a good start with 2010.

    Wish us all

    Nasim Khawaja

  22. Devon,

Of course you are on the right track. Actually you are brilliant to do this. So far so good, thanks Devon
    Remember traffic

  23. 7:28 pm on February 22, 2010

Its all looking positive andhonestly if you listen and respond to what the consumers are asking for and give them exactly that you cant go wrong…..
I also like prefer text directions , as compared to video..I find video annoying even though it is the flavour of the month and seems to sell almost everything…I personally dont like it!
but otherwise if all aspects are self contained in one site ie lists and other applications we could clear out our hard drives!

  24. I don’t fully agree with your list. When you say affordable, that could mean anything. I’ve seen gurus advertise that $497 is “affordable” because they weren’t charging us $4000 like they supposedly charged everyone else. So affordable means that it should not be more than say 3% of a person’s monthly paycheck. Why 3%? because most companies offer a 401k where we contribute 3% of our monthly income as a reasonable investment in our retirement. Again though, I keep mentioning in the comments that everyone’s situation is different and therefore we need mentors.
When people say “list building” do they mean “link building”? Anyone can build a list of people that you can sell to, but getting other websites to link to yours so that you rank higher in Google, now that’s what I’d like to figure out how to do on a shoestring budget. But I’ve found that to be extreemly expensive.

Can we clarify what list building means?

  25. Hey Devon,
Love your work and videos and yes yes yes you are on the right track. My husband and I are both now unemployed and trying to make it on the Internet, but as yet not succeeding. With the Step by Step instructions I like to do hands on approach as that is my learning style – for me some home work so I can really get what I’m supposed to be doing. I may be the only one to ask for homework but we all have different learning styles.

Low cost I agree with Bigbry2k3 that if your earning 6 figures your affordable and mine are very different. My husband took a different approach with one of the sites we signed up for, not a coaching site. They guaranteed our success and all they wanted was our success story + $5,000 to start. We suggested that if they guaranteed their product for our success, then they could loan us the money, at good interest rate. If indeed we were successful, we would pay them back with our earnings monthly?. Well the man got very rude and said we weren’t serious and after trying to talk us into spending the $5,000, which we did not have, he got more and more angry and used the F word at which point we hung up.
How Rude….. not the way to make the sale I am no Financier, but I am sure enough rules could be put into place to stop the company or you from being ripped off.
You seem very genuine and we thank you for that. Kate

  26. Hey Devon, I do care about your lovelife but I need to mske money first! Anyway, I think you are on track with the first 3 vids. I am hoping this is something I can afford seeing I am only working 24 hrs. per week and collecting from the state 16 hrs. What a difference a year makes. This time last year I was working 56 hrs per week. That’s why I am trying my damnest to get out of this rat-race and make serious $$$$ online. Thanks for everything, Alan Cinqmars

    Hi Devon
Yep covering all the needed resourses
    thanks

  29. Hi Devon: All 4 are on target. Number 3 really is doubly so. Most gurus glide right over that.
    Thanks. ttyl, 🙂 Bob
